confidenceinapproachingGod

This is the confidence we have in approaching God: that if we ask anything according to his will, he hears us.

I John 5:14 NIV

Sometimes we feel like our prayers aren’t going any higher than the ceiling.

Sometimes we feel like they are being heard but aren’t being answered.

Sometimes we just don’t like the answers.

That’s why I chose this as my next memory verse. Because sometimes I feel like all three. And I need to remember that I can approach God with confidence…especially when I’m asking something in His will…that He hears me and He answers me.

It helps me be confident about the answers I receive too…especially the ones I wish I could change.

How confident are you about approaching the Father?

spiral 2This post is part of my series of verses for the Siesta Scripture Memory Team 2015 with Beth Moore and Living Proof Ministries. This is my seventeenth verse of the year.
