faith in grief

faith in griefMy guest today is Jen Daugherty. Jen is a small town girl who traveled the world with the Peace Corps and then ended up right back where she started. But her story is a testimony to God’s care and provision in her life as she has experienced both profound grief and profound joy in the last year. During hard times we often wonder how we can maintain our faith in grief, but it is possible. In this episode Jen shares about losing her mother, planning a wedding, and what she is learning about maintaining faith in grief. And she also gives us a little glimpse into her tiny house living!

Living a Redeemed Life is a podcast dedicated to encouraging all who listen to live in the redemption found in Jesus every day. Each week I enjoy a conversation with a friend—some old friends, some new—and we talk about all the things. Jobs and friends, spouses and kids, the writing life, the struggles we’ve overcome, the ones we’re still struggling with, and much more. And along the way, we look for how God is redeeming each circumstance to bring us closer to Him. It’s also a lot of fun! So sit back and relax, and enjoy my conversation with friends!

We all have a story to share. And experiences that will encourage, enlighten, and help others along the way. I love to hear about what you are interested in and what you can share with my audience. Podcasting is just a conversation between two friends…old or new…that others get to listen in on. I record our conversation via a Skype audio call and all you need is a microphone with headphones (earbuds work just fine!). So let me hear from you!
