I am so happy to be writing a series on perseverance with my sweet friends, Mary Geisen, Debbie Kitterman, and Patti Krank. We have become fast friends in the last couple of years…traveling together, doing a podcast together, and more. I can tell you these girls know a whole lot about perseverance!
We will gather here in the Testimony Tuesday space each week for the next eight weeks. We will share some lessons God has worked in our own hearts and lives as He has called us to persevere through some of life’s difficulties. When it’s my turn to share, you will read the whole post right here. For the other gals’ posts, there will be a short intro and a link over to their sites for the whole post. I invite you to click over and read their stories…you won’t be sorry! And, as always, you can link up your own post in the link-up below.
Perseverance: Bravely Overcoming Fear
Today’s post is from Mary Geisen. Although she doesn’t believe it, Mary is one of the bravest people I know. Whether it is facing retirement or publishing her own book, Mary is learning to trust God’s leading and to go wherever He calls.
Today she tells a story about climbing a mountain. Not a metaphorical mountain. A literal one. The testimony today is that none of us can do anything all by ourselves. Without God and His people to help us out, we are standing on the mountain alone.
God used this experience to teach Mary four lessons about persevering to bravery. You can read her story about where she went and what she learned HERE.
Join the Testimony Tuesday community! We are sharing our stories of how much God has done for us.
